Primary Learning Support Assistant - About the role:

Develop your teaching skills on a daily support basis as a Primary Learning Support Assistant where you would be supporting an experienced class teacher, ensuring the class is running smoothly whilst working with students on a 1:1 and group basis.

No teachingqualifications necessary.


Primary Learning Support Assistant - This role will offer you the opportunity to:

  • Classroom experience working in a fantastic school
  • Build & develop your teaching / classroom knowledge
  • Support experience class teachers
  • Work with Early Years, KS1 or KS2 pupils
  • Offer 1:1 and group intervention sessions
  • May require working with students with additional learning difficulties
  • Experience working within an education setting
  • Display an engaging and proactive manner
  • Strong communications skills
  • Able to work as an individual and part of a team
  • Good availability, being able to work under short notice
  • A real enthusiasm for inspiring and supporting pupils
