Trainee Extraction Technician

Leicester

£18,000-£22,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)

Key Tasks & Duties of an
Extraction Technician:

  • Inspecting, testing and cleaning of extraction systems.
  • Kitchen canopy and filter cleans as well as grease readings.
  • Deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors and all walls.
  • Cutting of access panel and hatches into extraction system.
  • Writing reports of work completed in line with TR19 and taking before and after pictures.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.

Key Experience & Skills of an Extraction Technician:

  • A full UK driving license is essential for the position.
  • You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Happy working in confined spaces and at height.
  • Be eager to learn and hold great practical skills.
  • You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.


This is a temporary role that will lead into full time employment and a pay review once all training is completed to a satisfactory standard.
