To support new and current projects, we are currently seeking for a MIG Welder to join our team at the Ballymena Road site, Ballymoney.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • To operate MIG welding equipment
  • To read/interpret and fabricate from AutoCAD drawings.
  • Use precision measurement instruments
  • Cutting metal structures
  • Responsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its tooling
  • The capacity to produce the highest quality of parts in high variety and volume in a targetdriven environment
  • An awareness of the importance of health, safety, and environmental concerns in a manufacturing plant
  • Maintaining high level of housekeeping
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by Management.

Essential Criteria

  • At least 12 years welding in mild steel (Essential)
  • Ability to accurately read & interpret AutoCAD drawings (Essential)
  • Experience using measurement instruments
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload to meet project deadlines.
  • Good Communication skills with the ability to work within a team structure, as well as working on individual projects with mínimal supervision

Desirable

  • Making simple jigs and fixtures (Desirable)
Other fabrication skills such as grinding, and fettling would be advantageous


Hours of work:


  • 7am5pm Mon-Thurs (38hour contract), overtime available
