    About the Role
    This is an exciting role within Abbot's Lea School Leadership Team. Reporting to the Head of Therapies and working within a large integrative Multi-Disciplinary Team.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist who is a dedicated and innovative practitioner committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our students.

    We address the individual learning and therapeutic needs of all our students and provide a broad and balanced curriculum. Personal Qualities
    We are seeking to fill a vacancy arising from the previous OT moving on to a new role.

    The postholder would join a team which includes:

    • Head of Therapies and Safeguarding Manager
    • Safeguarding Assistant
    • Speech and Language Therapist
    • Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist
    • Positive Behaviour Support Assistants
    • Therapies Assistant
    This team provides universal, targeted and specialist approaches across the school. A postgraduate qualification in sensory integration would be an advantage. All support, guidance and great future career prospects will be available to the successful candidate.

    For the posts advertised, you must:

    • Be able to meet key accountabilities set out in Job Description and Person Specification
    • Be able to use ICT effectively
    • Have excellent organisational skills
    • Have excellent communication and team working skills
    • Good levels of literacy and numeracy
