Design Engineer

Salary:
£45,000 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Role type:
Permanent

I am currently working with a well-established client who is one of the North West's leading engineering, fabrication and machining companies.

They are now looking to add enthusiastic individuals to their team due to the business expanding.

At this time thereis an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Design Engineer, to work on site in Chorley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable Engineer, who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.

Essential Requirements

Experience within a design/engineering office.
Highly proficient with 3D CAD software.
Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings, and BOM creation.
Ability to interpret customer specifications and make decisions with technical information.
Ability to problem solve both as part of a team, and individually.
Ability to handle multiple project deliverables.
Knowledge of various engineering materials, including carbon steels, alloys and stainless steels.
A good communicator at all levels, including both shop floor and customer support.
Willing to travel for site surveys and installation support when required.
