    Location: Darwin House, Leeds

    Contract: 1 year fixed term contract, Full time

    Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 16:00-00:00 with a 30 minute break

    Work model: Onsite

    Williams Lea seeks a Senior Presentations Specialist to join our team

    Purpose of role

    The role requires the individual to work as part of a team liaising closely with clients and colleagues to produce outstanding presentations materials. You will be expected to advise the client and implement the best solutions to their visual communication needs. You will have a creative focus, not afraid to question traditional approaches and be driven to produce high-quality innovative ideas and concepts within brand guidelines, supporting the Leeds team to drive quality and creativity.

    You will liaise with bankers in a professional, consultative, and helpful manner at all times. To own and take responsibility for the work, in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, creativity, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the Bank template and corporate guidelines. Take responsibility for the management of the document, within time and quality parameters, handling customer queries relating to these documents.

    The Senior Presentations Specialist will spend 80% of their time operational, with the remainder spent working with their team, providing 1-2-1 feedback and development opportunities.

    The Senior Operator will report into their respective Team Leader and will report on team metrics and development. They will ensure smooth running of the day-to-day operation and liaise with Presentations Operational Services Manager as and when required.

    Key responsibilities

    • To produce aesthetically pleasing presentation materials within Bank's branding guidelines
    • To complete amendments to and create documents as requested by clients using the Bank's template
    • To liaise with and have close contact to London Workflow Team ensuring regular communication of staff availability and job-related queries are communicated in a timely fashion.
    • To drive high quality and accuracy within the team
    • Point of contact for team to discuss on-the-job issues or improvement opportunities
    • To take ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlines
    • To use Symphony (Engage) job tracking system for job related duties accurately and effectively
    • To accurately estimate the production time and liaise with Workflow Coordinators to ensure deadline adherence
    • To share knowledge and encourage a supportive team culture
    • Taking a pro-active approach to attendance and time management
    • Understanding and ensuring adherence of objectives and contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators) for yourself and the team
    • To act in a professional and consultative manner to all clients
    • To ensure a clear and comprehensive handover for any incoming staff
    • To record attendance of the team (Annual Leave/Sickness Absence/etc.)

    General tasks

    • Guide and develop the team to improve output
    • Accurate and timely production of all Presentations materials
    • Ensure all work is quality checked before being returned to the client
    • Ensure complete submission of work to be randomly quality checked
    • Adherence of department policies and procedures
    • Reporting of any issues to relevant parties
    • Ensure communication from Management is cascaded and understood by the team
    • 1-2-1s and Team Meetings with the team
    • Performance Reviews with the team, ensuring development plans are in place and key objectives are set for the individuals within the team

    Personal attributes

    • The candidate must have advanced knowledge of MSOffice and Pitchbook
    • Knowledge of graphics production software (Adobe Creative Suite) essential
    • An interest in next generation of Presentations and providing innovative digital solutions is desired
    • Exposure to a shift environment would be beneficial
    • Natural leader someone who shows a sense of professional pride
    • Continual improvement mentality, open and receptive to feedback
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Calm and mature personality with the ability to work in a team or autonomously, in a pressured environment

    • Should be a quick learner, able to pick up skills relevant to the service needs
