    We're currently recruiting a dedicated Costa Coffee Assistant Manager in Royal Gwent Hospital to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major brand on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

    As a Costa Coffee Assistant Manager, you'll be brewing up a perfect blend of team camaraderie, customer smiles, and caffeine magic to create a buzzing coffee haven that's as vibrant as a latte art masterpieceIn the role of an Assistant Manager within Costa Coffee, you'll be involved in orchestrating exceptional customer service delivery, and shouldering the responsibility for maintaining accurate stock levels and cash management on site.

    As the Assistant Manager in Costa Coffee, we are looking for a reliable and dedicated support to the manager, overseeing daily operations, leading the team with enthusiasm, and ensuring a welcoming environment where both customers and staff can enjoy exceptional coffee experiences.

    As a Costa Coffee Shop Assistant Manager, your main responsibilities will be:To complete the opening and closing checklists and to ensure that everything on them has been doneTo ensure that the front of house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening timesTo produce weekly rotas following the manager's guidelinesTo place orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levelsTo ensure that all deliveries are checked and put away promptly and correctlyTo ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage productionTo delegate where necessary and ensure the team are pro-active at all timesTo cash up at the end of a late shift and complete beverage stock takes when requiredIn the absence of the Manager assist in the completion of weekly bookwork and any other duties that are deemed necessaryBe pro-active at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may ariseOur ideal Costa Assistant Manager will:Have a passion for delivering outstanding service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with prideTake initiative and make decisions that are right for our customersBe an excellent team player with great communication skillsHave a desire to succeed in your rolePossess the ability to work under pressureDemonstrate Exceptional timekeeping and reliabilityHave a safety-first mind setAs part of Compass you'll help to feed people, fuel progress and forge connections in around 6,000 venues.
