    The role

    A Senior Linux Engineer for our SMB Linux Support Team will play a pivotal role in providing advanced technical expertise to maintain a high level of support service, contribute to the professional growth of team members, and optimize processes for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction. Linux Engineers are responsible for working with customers through troubleshooting, monitoring and enhancing solutions, with a focus on customer experience, where all members of the team work together to maintain SLAs and KPIs.

    What will I be doing?

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Leverage a strong technical background in Linux systems to guide the team in resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Act as an escalation point for challenging problems, offering expertise, and ensuring timely solutions.
  • Provide client support via phone and case management.
  • Mentorship and Training:
  • Assist in training team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance the overall competency of the team.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Documentation:
  • Contribute to documentation of support processes, procedures, and solutions, promoting consistency and knowledge retention.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience by ensuring that technical issues are resolved promptly and effectively, meeting, or exceeding service level agreements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance the team's capabilities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in both technical and operational aspects.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Linux system administration and support, showcasing a deep understanding of Linux environments, configurations, and troubleshooting.
