This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced paediatric dietitian to join a well-established community paediatric dietetic team in Enfield.

This post is fixed term for 6 months to establish a range of training packages to support the needs of our 0-19 service users in Enfield

You will be part of the Enfield Children Service Directorate. This is a part time, 22.5hrs per week community paediatric dietetic post. You will be well supported and will be part of a rapidly expanding, dynamic and forward-thinking team.

We work in a friendly, supportive setting with a strong ethos of CPD, undertaking audits, using evidence-based practice, and maintaining collaborative and partnership working.

The post holder will receive regular individual supervision to support their practice as well as opportunities to engage in reflective practice.

We are part of Children and Young People directorate.

Your role will be to assess, advise and monitor children and young people across the primary care setting, in Enfield.


You will be required to undertake clinics at Cedar House and set up and deliver workshops in various community sites.

  • To provide a comprehensive and quality dietetic service to paediatric patients and their families in community clinics within the borough of Enfield. This includes service development and delivery for a range of clinical specialties including weight management, nutrition support and community educational workshops to support healthy eating in the borough of Enfield.
  • To work closely as an integrated team (such as health visitors, school nurses, education teams and speech and language therapists) involved in the child's care and provide support when required.
  • Continue to develop the dietetic service to facilitate effective patient care and multidisciplinary working within Primary Care settings.
  • To work together as part of the wider community paediatric dietetic team ensuring the delivery of a high quality service and ensuring professional standards are maintained.
