    Divisional Learning & Development Manager

    Belmond is seeking a Learning & Development Manager, based in London, to carry out the Learning and Development function for all Belmond Trains & Cruises products across the division. Reporting to the Divisional Director of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will be passionate about helping our teams to advance their skills, knowledge, performance and productivity through the creation and delivery of personalised training material and courses.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create and execute learning strategies, including e-learning and in-person courses and workshops.
    • Facilitate the annual performance review process and support the annual OMR (organisational management review) process across the division.
    • Create annual learning and development plans for each business unit
    • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
    • Assist individual team members with learning and growth through the development of individual development plans.
    • Track budgets and negotiate contracts with external training providers.
    • Identify future training needs in consultation with Heads of Departments.
    • Coordinate and manage interns and hotel school trainees.
    • Conduct site inspections with colleges and attend career/open days as required.

    Requirements

    What you bring:

    • Degree in Learning Management, Human Resource Development, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of learning and development experience at a leadership level.
    • Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
    • Familiarity with e-learning platforms (advantageous).
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
