- Identify areas to strengthen commercial processes across a variety of contracts (response, voids, planned & projects)
- Review and scrutinse contract CVRs to ensure accuracy and identify areas to improve performance
- Review key contracts at tender stage and upon award to identify risks and opportunities
- Ensure subcontractor management process is being followed
- WIP monitoring and management, ensuring that invoices are accurate and being issued on time
- Debt monitoring and management, ensuring cash is collected on time
- You will have solid experience with either a national or regional main contractor
- You MUST have experience within the Social Housing mainenance sector(Kitchen & Bathroom upgrades, Planned works, External works etc)
- Demonstrable experience of delivering commercial aspects of construction projects within budget and programme
- Experience managing Quantity Surveyors
- Experience managing business units in excess of £25m
- Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things
