  • Previous experience of working within customer focused role is essential, ideally within a Sales/Account Management role but other backgrounds will also be considered
  • Experience working to targets/SLAs
  • You will be processing large orders so commercial awareness and attention to detail is essential
  • Must have a proactive approach when dealing with customers, with the ability to solve problems and offer solutions
  • Effective communication skills are essential, both verbally (in person and on telephone) and in writing
  • Excellent time management skills are also key
  • Most skills are transferable so attributes such as enthusiasm, strong work ethic, positive attitude, honesty and reliability are more important than product knowledge

What will I be doing in the role?

The purpose of the role is to provide national and National account customers with a high level of service and act as a single point of contact to meet their requirements.

In this role you will;

  • Support the Sales Centres defined locations to ensure all branch related enquiries relating to relevant accounts are handled efficiently
  • Deliver weekly reports on performance of sales and profit to the Sales Centre Manager
  • Liaise with the Centre Manager regarding any ideas to improve sales and profits of the Centre.
  • Ensure enquiries from customers are handled efficiently
  • Continuously liaise with branch and customers to ensure expectations are being met at all times
  • Use our inhouse systems to process customer orders right through to delivery, ensuring they are updated throughout.
