- The conveyance or movement ofpatients by wheelchair, trolley or bed.
- Movement of deceased patientsto the mortuary.
- Changing of medical gascylinders as required.
- Escorting of patients and visitors.

- To rotate through all porteringduties and departments as required to meet Service delivery requirements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking team member to join our portering teams at Pinderfields Hospital.As front of house in patient movement you will support the safe transfer ofpatients around the hospital in a timely and safe manner. Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of theOperational Portering Team to provide patient movement and patient facingservices and to assist in the movement of both clinical and household waste forthe Trust.
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the post holder will deliver an efficient, effective and quality front of house portering service thatis supportive towards departments and other buildings. The post holder will be courteous andcaring towards patients and all service users.
