    The validation team based at GSK's research & development (R&D) site at Stevenage provide validation expertise across the site to ensure that all laboratory equipment is correctly installed, maintained and validated.

    We are now looking for a capable validation professional to join the team to support the Biopharmaceutical Central Testing Laboratory (BioCTL) with setting up, validating and maintaining laboratory equipment (in compliance with regulatory requirements and GSK policies).

    Key Responsibilities (include)..,
    • Set up, validate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
    • Maintain the Site Equipment and Systems Register.
    • Ensure analytical data is backed up.
    • Manage access to laboratory instruments and IT systems.
    • Ensure that the security of laboratory instruments and IT systems is maintained.
    About You:

    As this role is multi-faceted and includes liaising with a wide variety of on-site teams, you will be a self-motivated person who has experience of working in technical and/or validation roles within a complex working environment (eg; a R&D or manufacturing site). You will be resilient, with strong people skills and a proven ability to deliver and solve problems. You will also have a strong continuous improvement mindset.

    Qualifications:
    • BSc in Scientific, Technical or Engineering discipline.
    • Relevant Validation/Qualification experience (eg; in Laboratory Equipment, Computer Systems Validation - CSV).
