    Job Summary:
    Our client is a FTSE 30 Multi-national who own numerous world renowned brands. They are looking for an ESG lawyer to join there growing team in London.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide legal expertise on a wide range of ESG matters, including environmental regulations, social responsibility, and sustainability.
    Develop and implement ESG strategies and policies to ensure compliance with global regulations and industry best practices.
    Oversee ESG reporting and disclosure, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all communications.
    Conduct ESG due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
    Represent the company in legal proceedings related to ESG issues and provide guidance on litigation risks.
    Stay abreast of global ESG trends, laws, and regulations, advising on potential impacts to the business.
    Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to manage ESG risks and opportunities.


    Qualifications:
    Qualified solicitor of England and Wales with significant experience in ESG, environmental law, or related fields.
    Proven track record of developing and implementing ESG strategies within a global corporate setting.
    Strong understanding of global ESG regulations and their application to the corporate sector.
    Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
    Experience in commercial and litigation work, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
    Commitment to promoting sustainability and corporate responsibility.
