Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Settlements Analyst (Global Grade 6) to join the EMRS Operations Team on a permanent basis.
We deliver settlement for the Contract for Difference (CFD) and the Capacity Market (CM).Appointed by the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ, formerly BEIS & DECC), and act on behalf of the Low Carbon Contracts Company (the CFD Counterparty) and the Electricity Settlements Company (the CM Settlement Body).
The EMR Settlement Team's principal role is to ensure accurate and timely settlement of all CFD and CM costs, in line with contractual Service Measures and Key Performance Indicators.
To supplement these processes a service desk is operated in order to answer stakeholder queries and service requests.As an EMR Settlement Analyst, you will use your skills and knowledge to deliver effective operational performance and excellent customer service.
In addition, you will provide front line support for key stakeholders including LCCC and EMR parties through the EMRS service desk.
You will be required to review operational processes through your day-to-day work, identifying opportunities for improvement and updating Local Working Instructions (LWIs).
There will be opportunities to contribute to projects undertaken by the EMRS team including, but not limited to, new software releases and website updates.
This includes data file loading and exception management, interpreting and processing information received from 3rd parties as well as daily bank reconciliations, payment, invoice & debt management processing;Undertake operational activities to ensure successful outcomes to annual Pre-qualification Credit Cover collection;
Deliver excellent customer service by providing accurate and timely responses to customer queries and service requests via the Service Desk which is operated 08:30 – 17:30 Mon – Fri requiring the Analysts to collectively be available during core business working hours (09:00-17:00);
Contribute to successful outcomes of annual and ad-hoc processes including, but not limited to, ISAE3402 controls audits, ISO9001 QMS and ISO27001 Information Security accreditations.
Proficiency in English, written and verbal, and in MS Office, particularly Excel.Be flexible and able to manage a busy/varied workload while maintaining the quality of work delivered.
Working knowledge of SQL.
