    We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic Mental Health Practitioner to join our Early intervention in psychosis team.
    You will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with experience in the delivery of high-quality planned care. In addition you will be offered training in the caarms assessment and the interventions required for the EIP pathways.

    There is an expectation of commitment to the development of high quality care, and to engage in quality improvement activities.

    Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

    Nursing applicants should already hold NMC registration and have successfully completed their preceptorship programme. Newly qualified Nurses or those due to qualify will be recruited via a separate process.
    Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to post

    MIP, FLIP, ENB 998 Teaching & Assessing in Clinical Practice or City & Guilds 730 Teaching in Adult Education or willingness to work towards.

    Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
    Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area
    Working with people with mental ill-health
    Evidence based knowledge of best practice of caring for service users in designated field
    Understanding of safeguarding and it's application in practice
    Awareness of risk assessment and it's application in practice
    Awareness of psychological models of care and treatment
    Awareness of research and evidence-based practice in designated field
    Experience of undertaking lead professional and care coordination responsibilities
    To work towards providing effective teaching, training and supervision of MDT colleagues
    Self-aware of personal professional development needs
    Ability to travel independently in accordance with Trust policies and service need.

    This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
