Our client is looking for a new Managing Director with an industrial manufacturing/heavy engineering background to lead their team. The right person will have a strong background in metals and metal manufacture AND/OR heavy engineering with a proven track record of successfully managing a business, focused on providing clear direction through well thought out strategies and strong leadership.

Detailed duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• An innovative strategist, with a proven managerial record, transforming operations, developing commercial performance, building effective teams, and growing sales and revenue across all areas of business.
• Work closely with the Site Director to run the facility .
• Full management of the strategy, business plan, finance, sales, and general office management.
• Customer management and interface, delivering quality on time products, providing second to none customer service.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years' experience working at Director level within engineering.
• Commercially astute, with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passionate about developing people and teams.
