DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
About the role

As the Trainee Presales Consultant you will primarily focusing on offering support for pre-sales questions and deliver Webex's for the SMB business.

We will develop you to undertake a number of professional services tasks within the technical team, enabling you to develop your skills and give you the opportunity to work on larger more complex projects in the future.

These tasks include a combination of presales meetings and Webex sessions, developing to include scoping and installation consultancy.

As the Trainee Presales Consultant, you will:

Support the sales team at a technical level with pre-sales requests.
Provide internal sales with recommendations regarding orders and equipment specs.
Liaise with and provide support to partners and end users
Demo products to partners and end users on Webex
Prepare hardware for loans ensuring hardware is configured to specification
Support the consulting team with solution designs, preparing hardware for prestaging.
Attend site visits to support surveys and configuration of solutions
Implement data center racking and stacking of hardware
Scope statement of works for projects
Gain and maintain skills and certifications in vendor products as assigned by technical management
Be a technical expert/champion for specific products as assigned by technical management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |
About you

The ideal Trainee Presales Consultant will:

Have a minimum of 6 months technical experience, ideally with in networking and security with a wide exposure to various technologies, other technical support experience will be considered.
Be personable with excellent written and verbal communication skills and have experience in a customer facing role.
Have a high level of attention to detail with excellent organisation and coordination skills
Will be self motivated with an excellent work ethic and keen to develop a career in Professional Services
Ability to take Initiative and willing to undertake additional training
Experience in Fortinet, Palo Alto, Mimecast, Netskope or competing technology would be an advantage but not essential.
Must be able to pass BPSS checks and security clearance
Full driving license and valid passport
Willingness to travel in the UK and with possible internationally on a limited basis
