We are looking to recruit aSenior Marketing Executive into our team in Wakefield on an 18-month Fixed Term basis
The Opportunity
This is a fabulous opportunity to join an award-winning marketing team in an innovative company, at an exciting and transformational time.
Ideal for someone with c5 years' experience, with a professional marketing qualification or equivalent in experience.You will have a broad range of skills and knowledge and be able to demonstrate your experience in executing both online and offline campaigns, whilst managing workload and priorities.
If you are keen to continue to grow and develop amongst a highly-skilled team of marketing professionals, in friendly fast-paced and collaborative environment, then this is the role for you.
You must have strong communication, listening and influencing skills, an excellent understanding of digital marketing trends and techniques, and you will have project managed major initiatives or campaigns.
You will have good creative design skills and be proficient inAdobe Creative Suite:
Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator and can create artwork that is print and web-ready.
As travel is sometimes required, a driving license would be beneficial but not essential.
The Team
The Marketing Department is an influential dynamic and creative team of 17 people split across Product Marketing and Marketing Communications.
Responsible for launching new products and services, supporting all our Sales Channels, and creating customer campaigns and initiatives.The Marketing Communications Team ensure that the Sharp brand is presented correctly and deliver a wide range of tactical communications activity in support of our sales effort and success.
Key responsibilities
- Design and produce engaging marketing collateral/content in line with brand guidelines to enhance customer perception
- Contribute to the Communications strategy and plan, taking ownership of those aspects allocated to you
- Produce regularly reporting on the effectiveness of your areas of responsibility, suggesting areas of improvement
- Lead the delivery of major initiatives, campaigns, and projects, working with the Group Brand & Marketing Communications Manager to ensure they the meet planned objectives
- Develop project briefs and support other team members to ensure project / campaign targets are achieved
- Utilise and maintain the marketing systems and tools as per the agreed processes
- Work with external agencies as required to ensure their work meets the brand requirements at the best price and value
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure an understanding of each area, their goals, and objectives
Requirements:
- Circa 5 years+ in marketing or equivalent in experience
- Strong communication, listening and influencing skills
- Professional marketing qualification
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and techniques
- Good Creative design skills:
Adobe Creative Suite:
Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Project managed major initiatives or campaigns
- Delivered activity across the marketing communications mix
- Commercially aware with a curious and creative mindset
- Selfmotivated and resilient
