    Salary: £32,000 per annum, plus company benefits

    Location: London, WC2A

    Contract: Full Time, Permanent

    Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30pm, 1 hours unpaid lunch break

    Work model: Fully onsite due to nature of role

    Purpose of role

    The First Impression Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily tasks in reception, switchboard and hospitality, including event management in liaison with the Clients Marketing Team, to ensure a seamless service for clients and setting a new superior industry standard in a client's journey.

    A successful First Impression Team Leader will have a realistic approach with a strong flair for creativity and perfection without losing focus of the bigger picture. A First Impression Team leader must be highly interpersonal and empathetic and have a philosophy of leading by example.

    This role will support the Head of Workspace in providing a best-in-class service tailored to the Client. This is a hands-on role, involving travel to all client sites and will include working alongside Williams Lea team members to deliver the overall service.

    Key responsibilities

  • Completing daily customer service tasks as required including managing cover for reception, switchboard, hospitality, event management and overseeing the audio-visual systems and housekeeping
  • Ensuring that the workplace is always maintained in a tidy and well-presented manner
  • Ensuring that all Williams Lea policies, procedures, and standards are correctly implemented and maintained
  • To be responsible for and managing the health and safety for the First Impression team and visitor areas at all sites.
  • To manage the staffing resource and play a flexible role to cover team absences when required
  • Delivering training to assistants, and ensuring that staff are given the skills needed to successfully carry out their role, this will include relevant training provided by Williams Lea
  • Directly supervise First Impression Assistants, working closely with the TL in the regional sites, tracking all aspects of performance including continuous feedback meetings and giving regular feedback to your line manager
  • Ensuring that agreed service levels are maintained and exceeded where possible
  • Collecting data and compiling a monthly report for the onsite First Impression service
  • Routinely researching, proposing, and budgeting innovative ideas for the development of the onsite and companywide First Impression service
  • To work closely with the Client's Event Team, in the organisation and the hosting of client and internal events
  • Undertaking other reasonable duties assigned by your manager or the client
  • Personal attributes

  • Experience as a Senior Receptionist or Assistant Front of House Team Leader within a corporate environment is essential
  • Experience of motivating and developing a team
  • Experience of collecting data and creating reports
  • A passion for service excellence and innovative ideas
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • A high attention to the finer details without losing focus on the bigger picture
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience using email, Microsoft packages, room booking and switchboard software
  • Excellent personal presentation
