We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team, located in the LS11 area.

As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of exceptional care and education for children under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a designated room within the childcare centre, overseeing the daily operations and activities.
Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities, tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
Supervise and support a team of educators and assistants, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
Establish positive and collaborative relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Proven experience working in a childcare setting, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Sound knowledge of child development theories, early years curriculum frameworks, and best practices in childcare.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a genuine passion for working with children
