We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Social Worker in Smethwick to provide care and support.

Duties of the role include:

Empowering individuals using the service ot be as independent as possible, maximising potential and delivering personcentred care
Contributing to the protection/safeguarding of individuals by minimising abuse in care environments, reporting any concern/suspicion/allegation of neglect/harm
Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the service standards
Supporting with all aspects of personal care/support needs set out within the individual care plan, including enabling service users to maintain their personal hygiene/appearance, helping them with eating/drinking, preparing them for moving/handling, anddelivering activities to ensure a stimulating environment for mental/physical wellbeing.
Establishing/maintaining effective communication with people
Any other relevant duties as required

This position is a temporary role contracted until May 2023, working 28hrs per week (7:30am-2:30pm/2:30pm-10:00pm), paying £11.18ph.
