    Description

    My clients are currently seeking an Engineering Process Operative to join their highly skilled Engineering Team with immediate effect.

    As world leaders within Aviation & Aerospace Manufacturing, our preferred candidate should have the following skills & attributes:

    • Previous experience within the Engineering Sector
    • Be a semi skilled Engineering Operator
    • Read and interpret drawings
    • Work on a Process Line with Chemicals
    • Have experience in Steam Cleaning & Spraying
    • Have some experience in Heat Treatment & Blasting
    • Be able to effectively liaise with Production Leaders and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure the timeliness and efficient completion of the task to the required quality standards.
    • Be expected to conduct basic first principle measurement, maintain the cell 5S standard, maintain calibration of gauges and equipment and to manage the efficient allocation of consumables and resources and materials in the cell.

    It is essential that the successful candidate:

    • Has good communications skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
    • Has general understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the business.
    • Has worked within a similar role previously with relevant Engineering Operations experience.
    • Has a solid understanding of Health & Safety

    Working Hours

    Operating a 3 shift rotating shift pattern across earlies, afters & nights.

    This is an initial 6 month contract, however with scope to progress thereafter for the right candidate.
