CBRE is seeking a motivated Surveyor to join our team in the Glasgow area.Job Summary:
CBRE's market leading Office Agency team advises clients across Glasgow and the West of Scotland markets on all aspects of Commercial Office assets.
As a Surveyor working within the Office Agency team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, advising Glasgow and West of Scotland landlords on their office disposals and occupiers on their renewal or relocation decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advising major clients on highprofile acquisition, disposal, leasing and development instructions on some of the most progressive schemes in the Glasgow and West of Scotland markets
- Your role will include the daytoday management and running of many of these instructions while working as an instrumental member of a closeknit team
- Producing market research reports
- Working with our dedicated data manager on research and comparable evidence
- Supporting with the administration of Head of Terms
- Business generation of new leasing, site acquisition and disposal opportunities leveraging new and existing client relationships
- Seeking to identify and acquire sites for development on behalf of developer and investor clients
- Working closely on opportunities with our Scottish Capital Markets team as well as other related teams to maximise revenue for CBRE with crosssell opportunities
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of the Commercial Office sector including the acquisition and disposal process, client relocation strategy, office leasing negotiation and some development exposure
- Be able to advise clients on market trends and provide flexibility in both approach and strategy
- Preferably 12 years post qualification experience in an agency/development team
- Ideally a thorough knowledge of the Glasgow marketplace and the regions client base
- Commercial experience strong understanding of the Commercial office sector
- Be able to communicate clearly and influence clients and colleagues at all levels
- Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- A team player with the ability to multitask & prioritise work commitments
- Selfmotivated, entrepreneurial, people focused and have the desire to deliver top quality client service
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme
