Description
The role will cover the tertiary Paediatric Gastroenterology dietetic service at the Royal London Hospital. You will work as an integral member of the Paediatric Dietetic team (33 Dietitians who work across 3 acute sites). The workload consists of both inpatient and outpatients and you will work alongside a Specialist 8a Paediatric Gastroenterology Dietitian and a band 7 Gastroenterology Dietitian, 5 Consultants, 1 Professor and the MDT which consists of clinical nurse specialists, and a pharmacist. You will also have the opportunity to build your experience within other paediatric specialities.
You will ideally have good paediatric clinical dietetic experience, with significant experience in acute paediatrics. Gastroenterology experience is essential. You must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment. You will join a large friendly team of Childrens Therapists.
We have a well-established programme of quality improvement and research, and fully encourage CPD. This is a genuine opportunity to develop your acute paediatric skills.
