    Description

    Overview

    Teaching Managersare responsible for the overall smooth running of the EFL teachingprogramme at their ANGLO centre. The main role is to supervise andsupport a team of Academic Staff ensuring the safe operation of theacademic programme for both students andstaff.

    Your role &responsibilities

    • Depending on the size of your centre some of thesetasks may be delegated to a Workshops and Teaching Supervisor(WTS).
    • Reporting to and liaising with the Programme Managerand Head Office
    • Attending the TMs Training webinar prior to the centreopening
    • Administering placement tests wherenecessary
    • Timetabling all classes and assigning teachersappropriately considering their skills andexperience
    • Manageacademic expenses at yourcentre
    • Attending meetings as required by Head Office and theProgramme Manager
    • Ensuring compliance of all teaching staff with ANGLO sacademic programmes policies and Code ofConduct
    • Ensuring all teaching staff have a knowledge of clientprofiles and needs
    • Thorough monitoring of student attendance and ensuringANGLO s attendance procedure is followed at alltimes
    • Leading teachermeetings and addressing raisedissues
    • Supervising the completion of all legal and othernecessary documentation such as class registers lesson plansstudent profiles weekly academic reports end of coursefeedback
    • Overseeing the preparation of Trinity GESE andfurnishing HO with accurate information for Trinityregistrations
    • Leading induction sessions and fortnightly CPDsessions
    • Providing guidance and advice to teachingstaff
    • Conducting formalclassroom observations providing written feedback for teachers andensuring records are accurate and available toHO
    • Organising acertificate ceremony at the completion of eachcourse
    • Reporting to the Programme Manager any relevantincidents or complaints including student or staffdiscipline
    • Supervising delivery of and reacting to student onlinefeedback in a timely fashion
    • Promoting professional dress code and behaviour and ateam ethos including punctuality class hygiene and appropriatecommunication
    • Arranging teacher cover and teaching classes wherenecessary
    • Keeping an accurate inventory of all books andmaterials and ensuring unused items are returned to HO at the endof the season
    • Timely and accurate completion of electronic payspreadsheets after ensuring all staff paper payment forms have beenchecked for accuracy


    Requirements

    Essential
    • First degree TEFLQqualification or equivalent experience (e.g.: DELTA MATESOL)
    • Native ornearnative Englishfluency
    • Subscribedto the DBS Update Service or willing to undertake a DBS check (orforeign equivalent where applicable)
    • 3 years experienceteaching under18s
    • Experienceconducting lesson observations and delivering CPD
    • Advanced IT skillsincluding Excel Google Drive and classroom technology
    • Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills
    • Commitment tohighquality customer service
    • Ability to workunder pressure strong work ethic and ability to implementchange

    • Young Learnersteaching qualification

    Benefits

    PAY:Weekly pay BED &BOARD: Residential position. Fullbed and board
    HOURS: 48 hours over 6 days aweek
    CONTRACT: Temporary fixed term
