Due to recent wins, we are recruiting in across the UK for numerous Protection & Control Engineers.

You will be accountable for the following tasks including but not limited to:

• Carrying out detail design works including the protection and control aspects of different projects

The work includes

• SLD,
• KLD,

- schematics,
wiring diagrams
- functional specifications,
- setting reports,
- coordination and discrimination studies,
- telecom,
- network architecture,

• SCS,

- cable sizing and voltage drop,

• LVAC and LVDC load calculations and sizing,

- technical specification for P&C equipment,
battery and UPS systems.

• Carry out CDAE for P&C discipline
• Carry out P&C Design Assurance activities
• Ability to attend and chair the design review and Hazard review meetings and reviewing P&C design packages as required.
• Attending site visits, FAT and SAT as required.

You'll need to have:

• HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Proven extensive experience in P&C design of substations in UK
• Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards

Full UK Driving Licence.
It would suit a M&E Engineer, HV Design Engineer, Protection Setting Engineer
