    UCLH specialises in women's health and the treatment of cancer, infection, neurological, gastrointestinal and oral disease. It has world class support services including critical care, imaging, nuclear medicine and pathology.

    In addition to the duties listed below, the audiologist must maintain continuous professional development whilst working towards higher levels of professional competence.

    Auditory assessment of children and young adults. Audiological assessment of infants, children and young adult patients, including history taking, evaluation of results and subsequent appropriate management. Fit hearing aids with the use of computerised probe microphone measures to verify and evaluate hearing aid performance. Additional use of sound field aided gain and speech reception tests as required.
    Audiological rehabilitation of children and young adults, including the use of questionnaires and other outcome measures
    Audiological assessment and rehabilitation of children and young adults with learning difficulties or special needs including: a variety of non-routine assessment methods, taking aural impressions, hearing aid selection and fitting, and follow-up
    Aural rehabilitation of patients with additional special needs other than hearing loss.
    PTP or B.Sc in Audiology or equivalent.
    Patient handling, counselling and all necessary skills involved in adult working
    Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
