Description
Our client is a team of forward-thinking design and engineering consultants based in Newton Abbot. They have established themselves as a leading consultancy in Structural, Civil and Infrastructure Design Engineering. They are currently expanding and lookingto recruit a CAD Technician to join their team.

You will be joining a well-established team of exceptional Engineers and Technicians and the team is involved in varied and exciting work across the South West.


As a CAD Technician your role will involve:

  • Manage CAD deliverables for multiple projects from conception to completion within budget.
  • Production of Planning, Construction and AS Built Drawings
  • Coordinate and validate project deliverables in accordance with quality procedures and client requirements.
  • Manage, advise and mentor junior CAD colleagues.
  • Comply with quality policies for project delivery.

To be considered for the CAD Technician role you must have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in AutoCAD
  • Experience in managing a team of Technicians
  • Minimum of 2 years of significant experience within a design practice environment
  • Revit is desirable but not essential

Working hours:

As a CAD Technician, you'll be required to work 8.30 am-5 pm Monday -Friday with a 1hr lunch break taken 1 pm-2 pm (total working hours =37.5hrs/Week)


Our client is offering the successful CAD Technician:

  • Up to £35,000 DOE
  • Potential to progress to Senior/Associate within the company
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme and discretionary performance bonus
