Description
A Trainee Mechanical Engineer is needed to join a small professional team based in Lingfield, Surrey. No qualifications are required for this role, however, a willingness to learn and study is considered vital.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and influential company.
Salary depends upon experience.

You will be working and training under a highly experienced and qualified industry leader, learning correct procedures including fine machining, lathe, finishing and design.


Required Experience:


  • Clean current driving licence
  • Due to the strict security clearance needed for this role (NV2), applicants must be born in the UK
  • Checkable work history (Due to the strict security clearance needed for this role, references will be sought)
  • No criminal convictions (Due to the strict security clearance needed for this role, an enhanced police check will be done)

Required Skills:


  • Practical aptitude
  • Mature attitude to work and time keeping
  • Reliability
  • A can do attitude
  • No qualifications needed, but willing to study hard
  • Must be 21 or over
  • Good practical maths and English
  • Would suit former military or police, but not essential
