We are looking to recruit an experienced Cover Supervisor for a Secondary School in Leicester on a full time basis from August 2023.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, adaptable and organised Cover Supervisor to work within a successful and supportive teaching and learning environment.

This position is suitable for someone who is interested in a future career in education, making a difference to the lives of young people.

The schools aim is that all students are able to flourish academically and spiritually. The school provides the best possible standards of education for all pupils. This is achieved by ensuring that all students learn through the provision of a high-quality curriculum

You will be involved in:

Covering classes and teaching groups as directed by cover Teacher.
Supporting students to engage with the work provided, including providing support where necessary with literacy, numeracy and organisational skills.

Ideally, you will have:

Some understanding of the national Key Stage Curriculum.
Good classroom control.
Ability to cover a wide range of lessons.
Ability to keep students engaged and on task.
Have a passion for working with young people.
Previous experience working in a school setting.
Have some understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
