Maintenance Engineer


Venatu Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with our client, a leading supplier of modular houses throughout the UK.

A growing company, with a national presence they are looking to add to their ever-growing team.

They use advanced manufacturing and the latest technology to delivery ultra-low carbon homes, whilst keeping costs as low as possible.

They manufacture homes in a controlled environment, removinguncertainties, improving quality, and reducing costs


We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work as part of their maintenance team based out of their office in Foston, Derby.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that their production facility and its equipmentare running up to the required standard needed by their manufacturing teams.


Salary:

Salary of £35,200 - £39,600 per annum


The Role:

  • Maintenance, service and repair all plant and machinery to minimise production downtime
  • Manage reactive breakdowns and Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations, and breakdowns
  • Identifying and fault find on both electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Deliver on all targets relating to safety, quality and environmental policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and keep up to date documentation relating to the maintenance of each machine.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Ideally you will be apprenticeship trained with experience in an industrial environment holding recognised level 3 (or above) qualification in city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent.
  • Be comfortable working in an industrial environment
  • Open to learn new technics, tools, and software
  • Experienced in manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to selfmotivate and work proactive
  • Be quick thinking and demonstrate the ability to come up with creative solutions when under pressure
  • A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A systematic approach with a passion for developing process and procedure

Working hours:

  • Week 6am2pm Monday to Friday
  • Week 2pm11pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm8pm Friday
  • Potentially 3rd shift TBC.
