fantastic opportunity has arisen to support the Senior Fees Clerk within a leading set with barristers chambers (law firm).

Our client, based in London (close to Chancery Lane & Holborn) is looking for a
Credit Controllerwith strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and electronic filing.

As a
Credit Controlleryour duties will include:

  • Telephoning solicitors to chase for outstanding fees owing
  • Analysing aged debt and prioritising which cases to chase for payment
  • Liaising with the Debt Manager to segment the aged debt into collectable accounts
  • Reducing the number and value of overdue items in line with agreed targets
  • Working with members regarding their aged debt, providing updates in relation to specific cases, and reporting when payments are expected
  • Identifying and targeting sections of historic debt to chase
For this role, ideally you will need to have:


  • Minimum of 2+ years of Credit Control/Aged Debt or similar experience:
- _(experience within a law firm is not necessary) _

  • Good knowledge of
    billing processes across various funding types to chase
  • Implementing and maintaining
    electronic filing systems:
  • Articulate, and able to explain complex issues clearly
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowlege
  • Personable, eye for detail and that "can do" attitude
