DERMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT
Health Care Assistants Band 2

Full time hours over 4 long or 5 shorter days

Part time - 30 hours over 3 long or 4 shorter days

A very rare opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated individuals with excellent communication skills to work in this busy dermatology outpatient unit.

An understanding of the specific needs of patients with dermatological conditions and chronic wounds is essential, although full training will be given.

The work is extremely varied and offers the opportunity to work in the nurse led clinics, alongside the dermatology doctors including assisting with minor surgery in addition to regular clinic duties.

Flexibility with shift patterns is essential. The clinics run seven days per week from Monday to Sunday.

You may also be expected to travel between hospital and community sites, which include Northampton, Daventry and various GP practices across the county.

Northampton General Hospital is one of the largest employers in the area and we are on an exciting journey. All of our divisions are committed to doing things better, with more efficiency as we update, modernise, and advance.

We have also entered into a Group Model with neighbouring Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and become University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.
