Agricultural Engineer

• WrothamOur client, a successful dealership is looking to expand their team with the addition of an Agricultural Engineer.

The Agricultural Engineer role comes with a fantastic basic salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience.


Hours:
42.5Overtime available at 1.5x - OTE £45-50KCompany van provided and fuel card providedCompany Pensions Scheme

Agricultural Engineer Key Responsibilities:

Repairing and maintaining machines on customer's sites as required to ensure conformance with manufacturer's specificationAccurately completing all relevant paperwork dailyAccurately ordering of your parts and working closely with the parts department.

Working closely with the service supervisorCarrying out inspections and repairs of machines at our depot as required - in conformance with manufacturer's specification and any regulations affecting their useEnsuring that there is no deficiency or defect likely to affect the safe working of a machine – and notifying appropriate manager of any defective or unsafe equipmentMinimum Requirements as a

Agricultural Engineer:
Relevant experience and qualifications.

City and Guild, NVQLevel 2 in Land Based Engineering or relevant essential Experience in Agricultural plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipmentThe ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressureGood interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer serviceGood computer skills however training will be providedIn this role as a Service Engineer, you need to have good customer service skills and relevant experience and qualifications within the industry.
