- Appropriate degree or equivalent
- Professional registration as recognised by HCPC or NMC
- Significant accredited post graduate specialist lymphoedema management course or dermatology/ tissue viability. This advanced training will be equivalent to Masters level training
- Specialist knowledge of chronic oedema/ wound management
- Involvement in teaching/ presentation sessions
- MSc within relevant speciality
- Post-graduate qualification up to post grad diploma level in Lymphoedema/ chronic oedema/ wound management/ oncology/ community

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, compassionate and innovative practitioner to join the Lymphoedema team within Hywel Dda University Health Board.
This post is open to Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with peers and colleagues across the organisation in order to influence change and improve value based outcomes within our target population.
There will be continued positive support , close liaison and working arrangements with the National Lymphoedema team as part of this role in terms of continued professional development.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced healthcare professional who is self-motivated, dynamic and forward thinking to support and lead the further development of a progressive Lymphoedema Service within Hywel Dda University Health Board in the Pembrokeshire locality.
Although based within the Pembrokeshire Lymphoedema service in Withybush General Hospital, the ability to travel across the 3 counties of Hywel Dda University Board is essential to the role.
The post holder will manage a small team and as clinical lead will represent their area of practice within the structure of the Lymphoedema service both locally and nationally.
The ability to implement change through education and demonstration of excellent clinical practice is essential to the role.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
