Supply Chain Manager, £55,000, Bournemouth

Role Purpose


As the
Supply Chain Manager for this fast-growing electronic manufacturer, you'll play an important role in the business by providing
strategic direction to the procurement and planning teams.

Reporting directly into Head of Operations you will lead on the
supply chain strategy and be instrumental in ensuring the improvement of
quality, service and cost across the business.


Responsibilities

As
Supply Chain Manager you'll:


  • Manage
    New Product Introduction and procurement lifecycle management
  • Maintain a
    global sourcing policy ensuring strong
    Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Improve stock turn increases and stock turn forecasting
  • Own
    Sales & Operational Planning on both a strategic and tactical level
  • Manage
    labour and capacity planning:
  • Provide leadership and direction to your direct reports
  • Standardise
    procurement procedures and processes for integration into the main QMS system

Background

As
Supply Chain Manager you'll:


  • Probably be
    CIPSqualified
  • Have worked at a senior level within a
    manufacturing & engineering environment:
  • Be able to design and improve
    data & process analysis:
  • Have excellent IT skills
  • Have advanced knowledge of
    MRP/ERP:
  • Have demonstrable experience of
    stock and demand forecasting:
  • Be a natural motivator and an excellent communicator
