One of the world's leading law firms requires an experienced Business Development Manager to provide focused client and business development support to the Financial Institutions Group and lead the Global Insurance sector.

The role holder will enjoy a highly varied and truly international role collaborating closely with offices throughout the network.

You will provide day to day assistance to the Financial Institutions Group, acting as an interface between the partners andassociates, and working together with the Corporate and wider BD team to facilitate a flow of information and highlight cross-selling opportunities.

The firm's market-leading Global Insurance Sector group provide first class domestic and cross-border adviceacross the world's main financial centres and the emerging markets and you will work closely with BD colleagues in NY and Hong Kong to help deliver the sector strategy and client programme.

The Business Development Manager will work with partners to developobjectives for the group which underpin the firm's strategy and ensure these are understood and implemented throughout.

You will support the creation of the annual group business plans and budgets, ensuring plans are underpinned by data gathered from clientresearch, market analysis and financials.

The role will require the successful applicant to manage and lead on several key clients. This will include organising and co-ordinating global teams, identifying and responding to opportunities, as well as businessplanning and reporting.

Through supporting these accounts you will be expected to meet with clients and will be seen as one of the core team delivering instrumental relationship support.

You will manage the production of RFP responses, pitches, capabilityand credential statements and evaluate the merits of pursuing pitch opportunities, leading on large and strategic pitches, rehearsing pitch teams for beauty parades and attending pitch scoping and debrief meetings with clients.

In addition, the broader marketingresponsibilities of the role will include building successful marketing campaigns and thought leadership pieces, supporting the management of key events and the development of a communications strategy and leading on the groups' annual directory and awardsubmissions ensuring optimal quality to maintain and enhance the firm's ranking.
