    Description

    An innovative events management organisation is seeking a Bid Manager to join its team in Leeds. In this role you will manage both public and private sector bids, working with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling, customer focused responses. To excel in this role, you will need experience of bid management, bid writing, and the ability to develop strong working relationships.

    Responsibilities – Bid Management:

    • Lead all bidding activities for the organisation
    • Work through the bid process, from planning to submission
    • Conduct lessons learned reviews following each bid submission
    • Work with the sales team to develop innovate solutions, challenging them when necessary
    • Develop excellent working relationships with sales and marketing teams, ensuring everyone is on board with your approach to bid management

    Responsibilities – Bid Writing:

    • Create content for bid responses
    • Interview subject matter experts for input, then write up their responses
    • Maintain the bid library, ensuring content is readily available

    Required Skills / Experience:

    • Bid management and bid writing experience is essential
    • The ability to develop working relationships at all levels
    • Strong attention to detail
    • An interest in the events industry
    • You must have full right to work within the UK to be considered for this role.
