About the role


We are looking to bring on board a Tax Consultant to work closely with our Tax Managers and support our growing team.

The team currently undertakes high end income and capital tax planning work and compliance for HNWI, internationally mobile individuals and Trusts.

You will be trusted with your own client compliance allocation, working with tax managers across our busy tax team.

Many of those clients will also be the clients of our financial planning arm and the excellent client service you provide will help to support and nurture that relationship.

In supporting a financial planning team, we see a wide variety of income sources and assets, that fall within personal taxation.

This role will be varied and is away from the norm of a tax team within an accountancy practise. Support towards CTA will be provided, if desired.


Essential Criteria

  • ATT Qualified and be maintaining your CPD
  • Competent in managing your own portfolio of clients
  • CCH experience (preferable)
  • Excellent Microsoft word and excel skills
  • Keen to work within a large supportive team
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills with attention to detail

Location
This role will be based in our Exeter office. We operate hybrid working enabling home and office working. This role is full time, but we are happy to talk flexible working.
