RMS are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a high-speed manufacturing firm based in Newton Aycliffe, they are looking for a
HSE Officer to join the growing team.
You will be in charge of the management of:
- Maintaining & updating the factory Management Systems (Q-Pulse)
- Third party audits (such as TUV)
- Internal audits
- Chair monthly HSE committee Meeting
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Performing Internal audits
- Driving timely closure of NC's & IP's found during all audits
- Reporting monthly SOFI data to group
- Monitoring of factory Environmental KPI's
- Monitoring of dust and air quality in service centres
- Advising on legislative & ISO requirements
- Advising management of potential Health, Safety and Environmental impacts which could be generated by business decisions.
- Development of SDG action plan alongside management teams (UK).
- Attend monthly H&S meetings
- Attend monthly group environmental meetings
- Assist in H&S/Environmental Campaigns
You will also:
- Assist in internal projects (Health & safety Environmental impact)
- Assist in management of IA system, input incidents;
- Assist in work place monitoring
- Review frequency, feed back results to senior management and relevant departments
- Packaging waste submission
- Integrate Environmental / H&S in to HOS modules/training program
- Monitor and recommend EHS training
- Safety Hub
- Assist, review, and give training in incident investigation and documentation
- RA management (audit) for been suitability and sufficient;
- Assist in identifying RA gaps (process map)
- Preferred minimum qualification of NEBOSH Diploma
- Preferred experience working in a Manufacturing or Construction environment
- Knowledge/experience of Q-Pulse software
- Qualified Auditor
- Knowledge/experience of Safety Hub software or similar systems
- Knowledge/experience of IA software
- Knowledge/experience of Energy Management
- Knowledge/experience in the use of SDG
- Knowledge/experience in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Experience in the use of noise, HAV's monitoring equipment
- Experience in waste management
- A member of IEMA & or IOSH
- Ability to organise and prioritise with good attention to detail.
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude to learning and developing their skill set.
- Excellent Presentation skills
- In person and digitally.
- Computer literate using Microsoft software.
