HGV Class 1 Driver - Drainage


Salary/Rate:
OTE £60,000


Location:
Site in Aylesford but this role is Travelling mainly home counties, London and occasionally national

Hours:
Monday - Friday 40 hours minimum average hours 60 weeks

My well-established drainage client who has recently become a part of a national franchise is looking to expand their team and recruit an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to deliver tanks to depots within home counties, London and occasionally nationally.

My client turns over £15Million and thrives throughout the colder and wetter periods of the year.

This role will require for you to be as flexible as possible with hours which will result you in being rewarded with fantastic earning potential and opportunitiesfor career progression.

No two days will be the same while being a HGV Class 1 driver.

You will be operating a drainage cleaning vehicle and related machinery servicing commercial and industrial sectors that have drainage issues above and below ground.

My client offers fantastictraining and has a great onboarding process with regular career progression.

As a HGV Class 1 driver you will:

  • Attending depots on time driving and operating one of their cleaning vehicles and machinery
  • You will attend emergency call out situations working on drainage blockage above and below ground
  • Work with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure all works are delivered safely and efficiently whilst always maintaining high quality standards
  • Wait on the customer site whilst the issue is resolved and update head office of any delays to next job
  • Providing customer service to clients and being punctual
As a HGV Class 1 Driver you will have the following:

  • HGV Class 1 license at least 1 year experience
  • Ideally experienced within the drainage industry drivers from other utility industries or skip and Grab Lorry drivers also considered
  • The role will require liaison with customers, therefore a good level of customer care skills is essential
  • Flexibility to available allday Monday to Friday and to work away from home on occasion if needed
