My client is currently looking for a Estimator to join their team due to ongoing growth. They are looking for someone who has got
Power experience looking at kV).


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze project specifications and develop cost estimates
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and other project documents to determine material and labor requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
  • Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges or opportunities
  • Utilize cost estimation software and tools to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and reports for review by management
  • Monitor project costs throughout the duration of the project, identifying any deviations from the original estimate
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing for materials and subcontractor services
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new technologies that may impact project costs

Skills:


  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong problemsolving abilities
  • Knowledge of cost control techniques

Salary:
From £65,000.00 per year
