Job Purpose


LMP are looking for an experienced IQA [Internal Quality Assurer] to take ownership over the "Teaching and Education" programmes (for example: Teaching Assistant, Early Years, Education & Training, etc.).

The role will develop and support tutors by monitoring the activities, resources and experience to carry out assessment duties and to take appropriate action when they do not.


Key Responsibilities

  • To complete learner portfolio samples and lesson observations as directed by the Quality Sampling Plan.
  • To provide developmental feedback to tutors on the portfolio samples and lesson observations.
  • To provide feedback to tutors on learners progress all areas of their qualification and training programme.
  • Update and maintain the Quality Sampling Plan in own area of responsibility.
  • To prepare and run standardisation meetings, based on sample findings.
  • Assist in the management of Awarding Organisations (In conjunction with Quality Assurance Managers) to maintain Direct Claim Status (DCS).
  • Instilling a culture of quality across all divisions.
  • Assist with "Deep-Dive" audits of apprenticeship provision to cover curriculum sequencing, employer engagement and 20% off the job training.
  • Development of the 20% OTJT. Ensuring all tutors are planning and recording the 20% offthejobtraining.
  • Where required to support the Curriculum team in curriculum design.
  • To provide training on the apprenticeship standard to new tutors and sales team.
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure tutors receive the support and guidance required.
  • Safeguarding Policy, Prevent Duty and British Values implementation and development.
  • Ensuring we are "Ofstedready at all time" Grade
  • Contribute to the creation of SAR and monitoring of QIP.
  • To undertake training and CPD as necessary and relevant to the post.

Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Hold a Qualification in Internal Quality Assurance AND/OR Assessing
  • Track record of practicing Internal Quality Assurance to raise standards on provision.
  • Experience in onboarding, inducting, training and mentoring delivery staff.
  • Continuing evidence of meeting or exceeding KPI's in delivery and achievement.
