    About therole
    Identify and assess individual learnerneeds and skills requirements by undertaking or reviewing robustinitial assessment: including Maths and English learning supportlearning styles soft skills; and subsequently developing a tailoredlearning plan with targets to address specific barriers and skillsdevelopment. The training will include accredited and nonaccreditedpersonal social and wellbeing development activities and accreditedemployment skills wrapped around a sector of interest such asteaching assistant IAG mental health Autism and learningdifficulties.

    Qualification range is up to andincluding level 3. Plan lessons effectively and ensure thatactivities are differentiated towards individual learner needs.Deliver training coaching and assessment that effectively assistslearners to develop personal social employability and digitalskills to better prepare them for work and independence. Deliverymay include online face to face classroom or one toone.

    Tasks

    ResponsibilitiesThe below listed tasks/responsibilities are notexhaustive:

    • Train assessmotivate mentor and support learners assisting them to developpersonal and social skills to better prepare them for workprogression and life.
    • Where not alreadycompleted undertake initial and diagnostics assessments on eachlearner and subsequently review and develop a tailored action plansto include SMART targets.
    • Undertake regular andmeaningful reviews with learners to ensure they remain engaged onthe programme and that they are progressing well relative to theirinitial starting point.
    • Plan lessonseffectively and ensure that activities are innovative anddifferentiated towards individual learners and that learner supportis effectively assessed reviewed implemented and evaluatedthroughout the learners journey.
    • Promote anddeliver training in accordance with qualification and centreguidelines including the promotion of equality and diversity andprevent in lessons.
    • Adhere to all statutoryresponsibilities and ensure Health and Safety Safeguarding andPrevent policies and procedures are followed at alltimes.
    • Undertake and respond to learner andstakeholder feedback contributing to LMP Educations cycle ofquality improvement.
    • Take part instandardisation and team meetings and undertake continuingprofessional development as required.
    • Maintainhigh standards of quality and compliance and complete allcontractual paperwork and documentation asrequired.
    • Deliver outstanding teaching learningand assessment to learners.
    • Monitor learnersprogression and ensure all forms of teaching learning andassessment for each element of the qualification is completedenabling learners to meet the criteria for achievement of thechosen qualification.
    • Maintain learner recordsaccurately both hard copy and electronically and ensure allevidence for all visits is readily available and accessible foraudit and quality purposes.
    • Implement anyimprovements identified as a result of performance reviews andinternal quality assurance.
    • Ensure Maths andEnglish is embedded into delivery as required or delivered standalone as needed.
    • To develop and maintain ownprofessional and occupational knowledge skills and experienceincluding formal training CPD and networking with fellowprofessionals. Incorporating selfreflection to improvepractice.

    Qualifications/ Experience

    • Level 3Award Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement orequivalent.
    • Level 4 Award in the QualityAssurance of Assessment Process and Practice orequivalent
    • Teaching qualification PTTLs(equivalent) or above.
    • PC Skills ability to usedatabases word processing PowerPoint email internet andTeams.
    • English and Maths to at least FunctionalSkills level 2.
    • Knowledge and/or experience ofAutism and SEND.
    • Proven experience of workbased/classroom based learning teaching andassessment.
    • Experience of internal qualityassurance and knowledge of awarding bodyrequirements.
    • Proven track record of deliveringfunded employability programmes (including accredited andnonaccredited qualifications).
    • Proven trackrecord of working with unemployed people on programmes thatfacilitate positive outcomes.
    • Proven trackrecord of working with people with complex barriers toprogression.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills tobe able to engage with colleagues andcandidates.
    • Excellent communication skillsverbal and written.
    • Ability to plan andorganise own caseload and diary unsupervisedAble to meet and exceedretention and achievement targets for qualifications andprogression.
    • The ability to grow and maintaincandidate numbers in line with budgets and deliveryprofiles.
