As a result of our expansion plans and our clients continued ongoing success we are looking to appoint a new Material Handler on a 12-month rolling contract with the possibility of a full-time position at the end of the contract.

In this role you will assist the Warehouse and yard Supervisor in ensuring that the whole goods in/out procedure run in accordance with company procedures, policies, and guidelines.

This is a mixed Role and duties may differ throughout out the week from working in stores dealing with Stock coming in from vendors, stock moving though and around the company as well as dealing with external sales orders and delivery out of the company.

What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to:

Receive goods into stores in a timely manner and accurately check and book in on the warehouse management system (SAP ERP)
Put goods away into the appropriate location such as VSU bins, consignment stocks, consumables etc.
To supply production with raw materials using Systemgenerated Picking lists.
Satisfy all store requirements in a fast and responsive way
Ensure all stock is always handled with care
Ensure accuracy of goods stock levels and Bin location though Daily Cycle counts
Ensure that all store's areas are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
Always follow Company procedures and work in a manner that is safe and will not put either customers or other employees at risk by your actions.
Covering for other staff holidays within the department.
Picking and packing of outbound delivery's
To load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles.
