Job Title - Accounts Semi Senior

Salary - up to £35,000

The opportunity:

Our client is looking for an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team, the role will be around Audit and Accounts.

As a Semi Senior at the firm, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

Begin to take ownership of client engagements with support from your managers.
Support in delivering high quality audit, accounts preparation and corporation tax services.
Begin to develop enduring client relationships.
Involved in the completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, either in the office or on site at client premises
Responsibility for assisting with planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation
Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager
Understand how VAT returns are prepared and be able to review and submit a return
Help with the preparation of Management Accounts with a view of preparing these monthly or quarterly without assistance.

What we looking for:

ACA/ACCA or equivalent part qualified with three years of experience in accounting and Audit.
Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP/FR10
Experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries
Knowledge of Xero, CCH, QuickBooks, Sage and Dext
