As a Recovery Engagement Worker with Change Grow Live you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

Responsibilities:

As directed by the Team Leader and the Senior Practitioners the post holder will be an integral member of a Team delivering comprehensive integrated recovery treatment services.

The Engagement Worker will support the engagement, assessment, case management and supervision of clients and peer mentors and work within a Recovery outcome focussed culture.

The focus of all interventions will be:

To reduce substance related harm to the individual and wider community
To promote healthier life styles and increase service user choice
To promote and support individuals into both abstinence based and medically assisted forms of recovery
To provide effective case management and coordination of the individual's treatment plan
To promote carer and service user involvement
To identify service users with an interest in SUI and/or peer mentoring.
Support individuals to identify and access recovery capital within their own communities.

In fulfilling these aims the post holder will support the delivery of recognised evidenced based interventions.

The post-holder will contribute to the service to ensure that substance users consistently receive high quality services that adhere to the best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards.

You will be responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the service to ensure that contractual output targets are achieved.

You will be required to record and input client data and information in order that the service operates within contractual, administrative and financial requirements.

You will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.
