Techniche Global are supporting a large manufacturer to appoint a Process Engineering Manager to manage all aspects relating to production engineering and process improvement activities.

You will take the lead to ensure the smooth and timely introductionof new product and processes, whilst managing inputs to operational KPI's, including CQD measures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support a continuous improvement culture, whilst maintaining and updating all production processes and procedures, ensuring current and new lines are a focus for continuous improvement, using problem solving techniques and analysis to supportprocess improvement activities.
  • Develop new facilities, processes, and methods to ensure successful integration of new product, acting as the key contact and focus for improving production efficiency and performance by analysing; quality, cost and delivery metrics and implementing the appropriateimprovement actions.
  • Manage and control all production specifications and standards, monitoring and reviewing all production metrics such as cycle times, down time, scrap, rework, to maintain and improve production performance; auditing production processes to ensure complianceto standards.
  • Manage new product introduction processes, from Technical approval through to Production signoff.
  • Manage, support and development of individuals within your team to maximise performance metrics.

Key Skills:

  • A relevant technical degree or suitable industry experience.
  • Proven working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Business Improvement Processes and Techniques
  • 35 years' relevant experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment, ideally, from a process or a continuous production facility.
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft packages and bespoke manufacturing software
  • Excellent communication skills
